Preheat oven to 400 degress.
Clean mushrooms gently with damp paper towel. Remove stem and clean out middle with spoon.
Brush mushrooms with olive oil or melted butter.
Roll stuffing into a ball to fit in empty mushroom.
Saute mushroom ends in butter or oil with wild rice or sausage. Fill mushroom with a tablespoon of filling before baking. Add a bite of cheese on top or inside as desired.
Place on sheet tray and bake for 15-20 minutes. Once out of oven top with freshly shaved Parmesan cheese or fresh herb.
