Blanch and shock basil if desired. Dry basil.
Place basil, spinach, garlic, and nuts in a food processor and pulse until minced.
With processor on, drizzle Olive Oil into the mixture until smooth, add cheese salt/pepper, and splash of lemon.
Taste when done and add salt and pepper, cheese or oil as your taste.
