Brown Rice Cakes

 2 cups cooked brown rice
 1 cup bread crumbs
 2 eggs
 ½ tsp onion powder
 ½ tsp garlic powder
 1 tsp salt
 ½ tsp pepper
 2 tbsp tamari sauce (or soy sauce)
 1 cup cooked diced vegetables (carrots, broccoli, cauliflower, peppers, mushrooms or green onions work well)
 1 tbsp oil for cooking

Mix all ingredients in large mixing bowl.

Using a 1/3 cup measuring cup, fill the cup and pack firmly with rice mixture. Turn the cup upside down and tap bottom to release shaped patty or form patty by hand.

Heat pan, add oil and fry rice cakes 3 minutes on each side.

Repeat for remaining mixture.
