Drain and rinse chickpeas, saving water from can. Mince garlic and measure out ingredients. In bowl of food processor place rinsed chickpeas, minced garlic,salt, can juice,beets or add ins and tahini. Blend for a minute, stopping to squeege as needed.
Slowly drizzle in olive oil and let run till smooth. Add additional water one tablespoon at a time to get desired consistency.
Optional: Add 1/2 cup your choice of beets or roasted red peppers for flavor and fun.
