Baked Apple

 1 Apple- firm
 1 tbsp maple syrup
 1 pinch cinnamon
 1 pinch nutmeg- fresh if possible
 1 tsp butter- optional
 12 cups Water for pan

Wash your hands and produce. Core the apple, not quite all the way through, but get all the seeds out. Stuff each apple with syrup and butter. Place the apple , standing upright, in a baking dish with water or apple juice, then sprinkling the apple top with cinnamon and nutmeg. Place in 350 oven for 30 minutes or until the apples are tender.
